CASA Exhibition Tarot 22/7

 

These images come from a group exhibition with my Senior Studio class at the CASA.

We called ourselves the Material Girls and chose the name Tarot 22/7 for the exhibition.

Each of the seven members made 22 Tarot-inspired pieces to display, hence the name Tarot 22/7.

My contribution hangs from the ceiling like a party banner. 

Each of my cards displays items within my artist practice i.e. glitter, patterned paper, charms, and stickers.

The intention was that if I ever found myself unsure of what to do next within a project, I would randomly choose one of these cards and now I have to add the items on the card into the project.

My materials include patterned paper, stickers, ink, fine-tip pen, liquid glue, feathers, watercolour paint, string, 22 clothespins, glitter, patterned fabric, lace, and ribbon.
