Paused The Documentary
Paused The Documentary
In 2026, I had the opportunity to assist in the creation of a documentary film set for Paused The Documentary, filmed at Rocky Mountain Film Studio in Calgary.
The set structure and fabrication were completed by my father’s company, CP Wood Gallery, using designs provided by PARK. My role focused on the hands-on finishing and assembly process. I assisted with painting walls and detailed set elements, gluing and assembling pieces, and helping construct portions of the set during installation at the studio.
While I was not responsible for the original design or fabrication planning, this experience gave me valuable exposure to professional set production workflows and collaborative studio work. It allowed me to contribute to the physical finishing and visual atmosphere of the set while working within a real film production environment.
This project strengthened my interest in scenic painting, set finishing, and creative fabrication for film and media production.
